Move over Rebel the Bear, it’s the Landshark’s time to shine.

Ole Miss Chancellor Dr. Jeff Vitter announced Friday in a letter sent to university stakeholders that the school will retire its existing mascot Rebel, the Black Bear and adopt a new Landshark mascot prior to the 2018 season, according to David Magee of Magnolia State Live.

“I want to state unequivocally that we are – and always will be – the Ole Miss Rebels. And I am asking all Rebels to unite around our new Landshark mascot,” Dr. Vitter said in the letter, confirming that the school will stick with its long-standing nickname.

Vitter added that the athletics department will be in charge of designing, developing, and launching the mascot under the direction of athletic director Ross Bjork.

Where can i start? Okay, I am not the best in the world but i am working hard to come as close as i can to being the best man in this world. I love learning about new things like the paranormal and the unknown that most people will simply called crazy, and i am very intuitive and many time i does know what's going on with someone without they telling me anything. I also know the day is coming when this whole world will be turn upside down and all secret and lies will be reveals to the human race for the first time in human history and many will die from shock when they learn and see the real truth. I also have a great love for the Indian holly book called the BHAGAVAD GITA. Love and light to all.
